Positionality
​
I am a hearing, Black, cisgender man educated and enculturated in the United States. My socioeconomic status has been American middle class. I am sighted and generally able-bodied. My first language is English, I'm agnostic, unmarried, and child free. 

All of the above, and more, influence my research to some degree.
